With today’s proverb reading it was easy to choose just one verse, it really stood out to me.
Proverbs 3:3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around yourneck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
This is such a beautiful image, and since I’m a visual person, this will stick with me. God wants my attention 24/7 and I can’t do that if I’m scrolling social media, which makes me angry and eats me up inside lately. I hate that feeling.
I must stay off social media, especially the endless black hole of scrolling or reading comments. When anxiety and fear hits me like a ton of bricks, I must think of this image!
Thank you God for being all powerful and healing my son’s mind and calling his name! Forgive me my shortcomings and reveal to me the source of my crabbiness (I think it’s bottled up anger), remind me of this image and help me get over it. Thank you for saving me and healing my brokenness and for your many blessings, especially the work you are doing in my son. Please bring peace to us all, especially my children. Keep our government officials safe during this civil unrest. Continue you good works in my son. In Jesus’ name I pray these things. Amen.
