I’m using the SOAP bible reading method but I’m having a hard time choosing just one verse. Hopefully I’ll get better at this as I go along.

Proverbs 2

verse 5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God

verse 9 then you will understand what is right and just and fair–every good path.

verse 12 Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men…

I hope that God is at work in me, helping me to understand his voice, and that he’ll somehow guide me on this moving to Wisconsin or Portugal issue. Verse 12 has to do with my fear of getting entangled with men after my marriage, I doubt that this will ever change much but I’d be open to some healing here. Wisdom will also give me understanding for what are realistic attainable dreams for my son.

Dear God, you are the only true God, you can do anything, no one can force your hand, and you are so good to me. I’m sorry for my shortcomings and failures in your eyes. Thank you for forgiving me and for saving me in 2012 and for all you angels along the way. I don’t deserve it, I know that, I spent 60 years in the darkness. Thank you for healing my mind and both my son’s minds. Thank you for coming into my brother’s and sister’s lives in a powerful way. Please let the prophecy from Rabekkah for my son be true. Please continue to work on his heart and his mind. Please show me how to help or guide him. Please tell me what to do about moving too. Protect us all from covid and civil unreast, stop the violence here and around the world.
