Dreamy and me
It’s been three and a half years in the making and I’m very close to completion on my book. As you can tell from my blog, I’m not a trained writer, so I have been working with a wonderful writing coach, Terry Wolverton, who has not only published many of her own books, but has coached others, such as me, that had a story to tell the world. She has taught me so much about how to tell a story that will keep a reader turning the pages. How to dig deeper for meaning and emotion. I’ve learned that it’s impossible to avoid experiencing what you’re writing about and I am so grateful for Terry’s kindness as I relived my memories, many of which were painful.
I will now be working with Terry on restructuring the manuscript, something I know little about, but thankfully, she does. Then I will be looking for a publisher. God willing, my book will reach the ears of those that need to hear it. The broken, the trapped. There is hope for a better life, one filled with joy and love.
God bless you all that followed my journey. Your support has kept me going.
Never, never, never give up. –Winston Churchill
It was because of you that I took off and traveled – maybe not as long a journey but well needed. Thank you!
