I’m doing laundry in Cheraw. I have put it off for 3 weeks now…

A group of 6 horses and riders arrive at camp today. I met 2 before I went to town. Quarter horses!! They are from NC. Really nice folks.

Last night I listened to a recording of David Sadaris. What a hoot! Love him. He’s from Raleugh NC and turns out this woman I just met has a daughter who’s husband (or something like that) is his buddy. Cool. He is so funny, talks about his family mostly but I really loved the story he read about the Dutch version of Santa Claus. It’s called 6 to 8 black men. I laughed myself to sleep.

Yesterday was almost hot, today it’s perfect, sunny and in the 60’s. We are all super!
